Meet the Team

Joe McCarn is a Christian, a husband, a father of two grown children, and a grandfather of two rambunctious grandsons. He has lived in several places throughout the United States and worked in many industries, including farming, ranching, custodial, accounting, sales, engineering, insurance, medical, and churches. Joe has even owned and managed several businesses and was part owner of an international consulting firm. He has a broad range of experience that allows him to empathize and even sympathize with the many challenges faced by business and community leaders.

The diverse career paths that Joe has followed in life have prepared him to assist Cheyenne County in becoming stronger. He believes that strength comes from leadership and participation. Leadership creates leaders, and leaders understand that they are much less effective without the collaboration of other leaders in their community. Strength is manifested by economic growth, both in individual businesses and in the community as a whole.
